Exclude from Purge

To exclude specific items from being purged do one of the following:

  • For Customers (customers, prospects, and suspects), expand the Name & Address section in a Customer data entry form/page.
  • For Policies, expand the Basic Policy Information section in a Policy data entry form.
  • For Submissions, expand the Basic Submission Information section in a Submission data entry form.
  • Select the Exclude from Purge check box.

If you select the Exclude from Purge check box for a policy or submission, the associated customer cannot be purged. If you later clear the check box from an item, the item then becomes eligible for purge if it meets purge requirements. See the Requirements section in Purge Customer for details.
