Receipts

The Receipts view displays payments made by or for the customer, including cash receipts for the customer from Broker A/R, Customer A/R, and the Direct Bill Deposits Payable-Insurance Company.

Key fields

Amount

A payment is normally a credit. If the payment is a debit, then a minus (-) sign appears before the entry (for example, NSF check).

Type

Form of payment, such as check, cash, or EFT.

Check #

Entered only if the type is Check.

If you sort on this column, check numbers entered with leading zeros will not be sorted correctly.

Printed

Displays the printed receipt number or "N" if no receipt was printed.

An ascending sort displays all rows with N and then the numbers in ascending order.  Descending has the largest to smallest number followed by all the "N" rows.

By default, views and lists are limited to 100 items per page. In some Views you can choose to see more items, do any of the following, if available:

    • Use the arrows at the bottom of the page to view additional pages.*

    • Set the Max # of Records Returned field to a value greater than 100 in View Options.*

    • Use View Options to filter the results of your search.
