Form Map: Commercial Property-Property Subjects of Ins and Coverages
This is one of several forms comprising the Commercial Property policy. See Form Map: Commercial Property for information about additional forms. |
ACORD 140 accommodates only the first six subjects of insurance with a specific cause of loss for each premise location. If a policy includes additional subjects of insurance that do not fit on ACORD 140, then AMS360 creates an overflow form called Property Subjects of Insurance and Coverage. The subjects that are missing from ACORD 140 appear on this form.
Data flows from the AMS360 fields to a corresponding section on the Property Subjects of Insurance form. You can refer to the following sample of the Property Subjects of Insurance form to determine the corresponding AMS360 fields.
Click in the area of the Property Subjects of Insurance and Coverages form to view the AMS360 fields from which the information flows.
When you click on a section in the form, a pop-up image of the corresponding AMS360 fields appears. To close this image, click outside the ACORD form.
Alternatively, you may refer to images from the AMS360 user interface to determine which fields on the Property Subjects of Insurance form correspond to the depicted fields from AMS360.
To access these fields in AMS360, go to Policy > Line of Business > Commercial Property > Premise Information > Subjects of Insurance.
From an AMS360 sample policy, the following image depicts Subjects of Insurance for Location #1, Premise #1. Note that Flood also includes one additional cause of loss, which does not appear in the grid. In this case, ACORD 140 can't accommodate the last two subjects, Computer Virus and Fence Coverage.
From the same sample policy, the next image depicts Subjects of Insurance for Location #2, Building #1. Note that Machinery, Equipment includes two additional causes of loss, which do not appear in the grid. Business Personal Property appears on the overflow form.
On Property Subjects of Insurance and Coverage, the amount that appears in the "Limit 1" box depends on what you enter in the Maximum Amount and Limit fields under Subject of Insurance in AMS360.
The following chart lists which amount appears on the ACORD form, based on what you have entered:
Data entered in: | Appears on form: |
---|---|
Maximum Amount field only | Maximum amount |
Limit field only | Limit amount |
Both Maximum Amount and Limit | Limit amount |
