Viewing Invoice Detail
You can use the View Invoice Detail form to view invoice details. From this form, you can correct and void the invoice by using the appropriate link located in the Invoice Detail section. You cannot print or reprint an invoice from this form.
- In the Customer Center, select the customer.
- On the Views menu, click Policies.
- Click the link in the Policy # column for the policy you want to edit. The Policy data entry form opens.
- Expand the Transaction Premiums/Billing > Invoicing section.
- Click View Invoices. The View Invoice Detail form appears, showing all invoices billed on the policy.
The View Invoices link does not appear if the invoice hasn't been created for the policy, the invoice is being processed, or the policy has a suspended billing. |
The following sections are available in the View Invoice Detail form:
Correct |
The link to the Correction data entry form, where you can correct the invoice. |
Void |
The link to the Void Invoice form where you can void the invoice. |
Eff Date |
The Invoice Effective Date. |
Inv # |
The invoice number assigned to the transaction. |
Amount |
The invoice Amount appears in separate rows by LOB/Charge Type. |
Inv Total |
The total amount of the invoice. |
Transaction |
The Policy Transaction Code, Transaction Effective Date, and Transaction Description. |
LOB |
The Line of Business (LOB) short name, if the transaction row is premium, or the charge type short name if the transaction row is non-premium. |
Plan Type |
The Company Plan Type short name. |
Description |
The LOB/Charge Type description field that displays on the printed invoice. This defaults from a combination of the Line of Business/Charge Type description and the Transaction description. |
Charge Type |
The short name from Billings Charges & Credits setup indicating the charge type (premium/non-premium). |
Parent Co, |
The name of the Parent Company assigned to the policy. |
Writing Co |
The name of the Writing Company assigned to the policy. |
Binder Status |
A binder appears in the status column if the policy transaction for the invoice is a binder (not replaced). Otherwise this field is blank. |
Inv Print Date |
The date the invoice was first printed. |
Installment |
This check box is selected if this invoice row is an installment. |
Bill Method |
The billing method assigned to the invoice: Agency Bill or Direct Bill. |
Select to view commission information for the Agency, or an Exec, Rep, or Broker from the drop-down list.
Eff Date |
The Invoice Effective Date. |
Inv # |
The invoice number assigned to the transaction. |
Writing Co |
The name of the Writing Company assigned to the policy. |
Amount |
The invoice amount displayed in separate rows based on the LOB/Charge Type. |
Percent |
The commission percent for the single billing row. |
Comm Amt |
The amount of the commission expressed in dollars. |
Comm Method |
The method of calculating the commission:
