TransactNOW Book Roll

TransactNOW Book Roll is a time-saving feature in AMS360 that allows you to transfer an entire book of business from one carrier to another carrier without manually making the changes one customer, policy, and line of business at a time.

Before you can use TransactNOW Book Roll, you need to install the software. From Administration Center > Utilities > AMS360 Downloads > Help Center, download and install the AMS360 TransactNOW software.

You have two options:

To use TransactNOW Bookroll, you must download and install the first option, even if your agency uses Vertafore Single Sign-On.

On the 360 Toolbox menu, click Integration > TransactNOW Book Roll.

Parent Company

Select the Insurance or Brokerage company to use in selecting policies. You can only create a file for one parent company at a time.

Writing Company

All writing companies you have set up for the parent company appear in the list. You can select one or more writing companies to include in your Book Roll file.

Line of Business

Personal

The file can include Personal or Commercial policies, but not both. If needed, create separate files for personal or commercial business. You can select all lines of business, multiple or just one.

Company

Select an Insurance or Brokerage Company to receive the book of business.

Invitation ID

The code the carrier receiving the book of business has given your agency to use.

Applicant State

Select to have Book Roll limit the policies it finds to applicants for a specific state. You can leave this field blank to include all states.

Policy Expiration Date Greater Than:

Use this option if you are rolling a book of business that expires after a specific date.

Policy Expiration Date From ____to____

Use this option to roll a book of business that expires within a specific date range.

Include Policies Marked as Renewed

If checked, all policies that meet the expiration date criteria and have been marked as Renewed are included in the Book Roll file.

Get Policies

Finds the policies that meet the selection criteria for line of business and transaction effective date. The policies display in the Policies to Export grid.

Export

Select this button to create an AMSBookRoll.AL3 file and have it exported to a designated destination.

Clear Selections

Clears all selections in the Policies to Export grid.

Cancel

Cancels the book roll process. The following message appears: Processing Cancelled. Do you want to close this form? Select Yes or No.

A list of policies meeting your criteria appears in the Policies to Export portion of the dialog box.

Clear All

Use to de-select all policies in the list for export.

The number of policies in the list.

# Selected

The number of policies selected to export.

Select

Use to indicate which policies you want to include in the file. All selected policies will be included in the exported file.

Name

The name of the customer attached to the selected policy.

Policy Number

Current policy number.

Effective Date

Effective and Expiration of the policy.

Expiration Date

Policy Type

Displays the Line of Business policy type.

Applicant State

Displays the customer mailing state.
