Target List Form
- Open the Home Center.
- Click Target lists under Views on the sidebar menu.
- From the toolbar on the list, click New Target List.
Use Target Lists in AMS360 to identify customers, prospects, or suspects in your agency's database that meet a set of criteria you select. This list can then be used to determine workload, to send a letter about changing markets, or to cross-sell products.
The following menus are available in a data entry form. Click each menu item to see detailed information. Note that the available menus vary depending on the form.
Do the following to create a new target list:
- From the Home Center sidebar menu select Views > Target Lists.
- Click New Target List.
- Select criteria for your target list. See Target Lists Selections, in this topic for information on the criteria available.
- When you have made your selections, click Run Query in the Query Information section. The Count Results appear.
- Enter a List Name, Description, and Author.
- To save your target list, click Save & Close on the toolbar.
You can create a target list from scratch by selecting the criteria or you can create a target list by copying the criteria from an existing list and then changing specific items.
Do the following to create a target list by copying an existing list and changing specific criteria:
- From the target lists view in the Home Center, click the name of the target list you want to copy. The target list opens for viewing.
- Click Closeon the section menu bar to close all sections.
- From the menu, click File > Copy Target. AMS360 copies the target list and opens it for you.
- Review and change the selection criteria as needed. See Target List Selections, in this topic for information on the criteria available.
- When you have finished changing the criteria, click Run Query in the Query Information section. The Count Results appear.
- Enter a List Name, Description, and Author.
- To save your target list, click Save & Close.
The target list grid includes existing lists to view or copy as the basis for a new list. The target lists appear in ascending order by Name. To re-sort the lists using the information in any column, click the column header.

The number of customers that met the criteria when the query was run and the list was saved. |

The number of lines of business that met the criteria when the query was run and the list was saved. |
# of Dependents/Drivers |
The number of dependents or drivers that met the criteria when the query was run and the list was saved. |
Total Rows |
The number of rows generated by your query. If your target list includes policy criteria, the rows represent policies that match the criteria. |
Select criteria for your target list from the following sections.
Each section includes a Delete option, in the upper right corner, that you can use to clear the criteria for that section.
These selections query your AMS360 database using the information entered in the Customer data entry form, and personal lines of business data entry forms that include driver information.
Remember the more criteria you select the smaller your Target List will be because the members of the list must meet all the selected criteria. |

These selections queries your AMS 360 database using the data entered in the Profile section of the Customer data entry form. There is no limit to the number of profile questions you can include in your query.
Remember the more criteria you select the smaller your Target List will be because the members of the list must meet all the selected criteria.

Your Target List includes customers and policies only; it does not include coverage detail.
These are the most common types of target lists created. Use them as a guideline when selecting the criteria for your target list.
