Workflow: Adding, Editing, and Deleting Additional Interests

You can set up Additional Interests by either of the following:

Open the Administration Center. On the Customer/Policy Setups menu, click Additional Interests.

From any data entry form that has a Toolbox menu, select Toolbox > System Administration > Customer/Policy Setups > Additional Interests.

1. Click New. The Additional Interest Setup data entry form appears.
2. Select a Type for the Additional Interest (AI). This selection determines the sort group in which the AI appears. For example, when entering an Additional Interest on an application you select a Type. Then only AIs entered as that Type appear in the list for you to select from.

3. If you want the AI to appear in the list of Master Certificate Holders on Certificates of Insurance and in Contacts, select the Master Certificate Holder check box.
4. Enter as much information about the Additional Interest as available. Note that Name and Address are required fields. Click Add. The Additional Interest appears in the list.
5. When you have finished entering Additional Interests click Save or Save and Close.

1. Select the Additional Interest that you want to change and click Edit. The Additional Interest appears for editing.
2. Change information as necessary and then click Update.  
3. When you have finished editing Additional Interests click Save or Save and Close.

1. Select the Additional Interest that you want to delete and click Delete. A message appears asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes. The Additional Interest disappears from the list.
2. When you have finished deleting Additional Interests click Save or Save and Close.

Additional Interests that you delete in this field are not deleted from existing ACORD applications or data entry forms.
