Global Change Personnel

Note: This update represents only a portion of the AMS360 23R1 release. Please navigate to AMS360 2023 R1 Release Notes to review other enhancements and fixes that were part of the release.

Beginning with this release, users can now run this process while other users are in the system. However, any customer or policy with an application lock will be skipped during the process and will need to be changed manually.

The Global Change for Personnel process is also now located in the Global Change navigation menu instead of the Utility navigation menu.

The process will return an error message and will fail to run if there is another Global Change process in progress. These include:

  • Global Change of Personnel Import

  • Global Change Business Unit

  • Global Change Division Consolidation

We have added three exception reasons to the report to account for this new Global Change for Personnel functionality, as well as new features -

Policy has Pending Check: If there is an unposted, pending check on one of the policies that fit the Global Change for Personnel setup criteria, the customer will be changed but the policy will be skipped due to the presence of an open and pending check.

From Personnel Not Present: If another user changes the "From" personnel on one of the chosen records while the Global Change of Personnel setup winform is open, but they save and close changes before the process is run, this exception will appear because the personnel is no longer active on the record.

Record Has Application Lock: If a customer or policy chosen in the Global Change of Personnel setup criteria is open when the process is run, that item will be skipped.

Note: Once run, Global Change Personnel can not be undone or reversed!
