Add Business Unit Selection

Users can now select customers based on specific Business Unit access. The responsible party must have Business Unit access for a customer to be included in this distribution. Service Personnel are held to this same requirement. Additional columns have been added in the Distribution view to display Business Unit details for each job.

Distribution jobs include customers where the responsible party has Business Unit access and cannot be filtered by specific Business Units. In addition, customers are included if the responsible party is assigned as a Service Personnel for a policy belonging

Distribution jobs automatically include all customers tied to the responsible party’s business unit access, with no way to filter by specific business units. Customers are also included if the responsible party is listed as Service Personnel, regardless of the user’s business unit access.

Distribution jobs can now be set up to include only customers within specific business units. The Distribution view now includes columns that display business unit details for each job. Service personnel can no longer send distributions to customers unless they also have business unit access.

Why is this important? Distributions can now target specific customer groups, ensuring communications are more personalized, relevant, and impactful. This added control streamlines outreach and reduces the need for manual updates to service personnel, making distribution more efficient and secure.
