Web Address Format Validation

If a user attempts to save an invalid web address, an AMS360 validation message appears that reads, "Customer Web Address is invalid."

A user creates a new customer or edits a current customer under Customer Setup. In the Web text field, when you type a valid web address and click "Save" or "Save and Close," the web address will be saved.

Below are some examples of valid URLs:

When you type an invalid Web address and click "Save" or "Save and Close," users see the following AMS360 validation message in the banner above the toolbar: “Customer Web Address is invalid."

It is not necessary to click out of the message; you can go back to the Web field and either take out the web address or fix the address so it is valid.
