New Business Report

This New Business report allows you to annualize data to fully assess the impact of new business. This report assumes the following parameters:

  • New Business is reported when a policy contains a New Business transaction that is effective within the selected date range. It is not required that the “Business New to Agency” be checked.
  • Subscription Policies report at the Subscribing Company, Customer, Policy, Line of Business/Non-Premium level.
  • Multi-Entity Policies report at the receivables Sub-customer, Policy, Line of Business/Non-Premium level.
  • This report will not evaluate the manually controlled Policy Status field.
  • Premium Display Options must be selected as *"Include in Premium Totals in the Transaction Premiums" section of the policy for it to appear on the report.

    Example:

  • The Exec, Rep, Broker, and other fields populate from the policy.
  • For policy terms less than or equal to 12 months, annualized premium is(12/(# of months between policy effective date and policy expiration date)) * premium.
 

Data Level Security for this report: Business Unit
The filter list that contains Division, Branch, Department, and Group contains all business units.
