Find a Client Code Dialog Box
Use the Find a Client Code dialog box when you need help completing a client field such as Client Code, Bill To Code, Ref. Code, etc. You can search using the client code (full or partial) or other types of data contained in the client record.
How to access this dialog box
Click Clients from the Global Navigation Menu on the Sagitta Home Page or other pages throughout the system.
Using the Find a Client Code dialog box to perform a search

The search results will include up to x client records, where x is the number shown in the "Return a maximum of _x_ records" field. The agency's system coordinator sets the default number during system personalization. You can change the number for this search. If you leave the field blank, the system will return ALL records found. For best system performance, a setting of 50 or less is recommended. |

If you know the client code or the first few characters of the client code, type the full or partial client code in the search field; then click Starts.

If you do not know the client code, type 1-3 search criteria*, separated by spaces; then click Contains.
*For the search criteria, use data that might exist in the client record fields listed in the table below. The system looks for client records that contain any one of your search criteria.

When the system finishes the search, the Client List appears below the Find a Client Code dialog box.
About the Client List
The system lists clients alphabetically by client code not by client name. The amount and type of information shown in the Client List varies depending on the method you used to access it.

Using data from the Client List to complete the field
In the Client Name column of the Client List, click the client whose data you want to use to complete the field.
The system completes the field using data from the client record you selected.
