Report View Page
Use this page to view a report on your screen. You can also print a report. Please note that not all reports can be viewed in Sagitta.
Access the Report View page
You access this page by selecting the Screen option from the Print Options bar. The page appears spotlighted indicating you must use the toolbar for the screen features. Click the Quit icon to return to the report options.
Navigation and printing on the Report View page
View and print the report using the following navigation tools:
Report View Toolbar
View All
Displays the first 100 pages in the report, or all pages if there are fewer than 100. Scroll to move from page to page.
(To view the next 100 pages of the report, or any range of pages, enter the first and last page in the range in the Page Range fields, and click Display Range.)
Windows Print
Windows Print (Current Page/Range Selection Only) - You can use this option when printing from a remote location or to a local printer. (Note that only the report currently displayed on screen is printed. For multiple reports, you must display each report before selecting Windows Print.)
Before you select Windows Print, use the Page field, Page Range fields, or toolbar buttons to select the pages you want to include in the printout.
Clicking Windows Print opens the Windows Print dialog box. In the Print dialog box, select Landscape page orientation; then print the report.
To use a Windows printer to print the entire report, print 100 pages at a time from within the report, or exit the report, run it again, and select the Acrobat option to create and print the report in Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format.)
Report field
The Report drop-down list appears if the report (e.g., Preliminary Invoice Register) produces multiple reports. You can select the report that you want to view. If the report produces a single report, the Report field does not appear.
Total Pages and Current Pages fields
Both Total Pages and Current Page are display-only fields providing information about the report. Use the arrows to scroll forward and backward through the pages or to go to the first or last page.
Zoom field
Use the Zoom drop down-list to change the magnification of the text on the screen. The options are 100% (the default), 75%, and 50%.
View Page Range fields
Use the Page Range fields to specify a range of pages to view. (When using this feature, use 0 to indicate the cover page.) After typing a beginning and ending page number, click Display.
You can enter a maximum range of 100 pages at a time. If you enter a page range in excess of 100 pages.
Quit Icon
Click the Quit icon to close the Report View page and return to the Report Selection page or Report Builder page, depending on where you were working.
Scroll bars
Use the vertical and horizontal scroll bars as needed to view the page.
