Dunning Letters Templates

You can create Dunning Letter templates and store them on your Sagitta system. The method for creating them is the same as for creating for Sagitta Certificate/EPI Attachments.

  • The LetterElements.pdf file is placed on the ASD server during the ASD installation. It contains a list of all the available letter-template data elements.

  • Once you create and scan your letter templates, you can store them in the Letters Grid on the ASD server Personalization page as PDF files.
  • The Text Field Tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro is used to copy data elements from the Dunning Elements.pdf document to the letter templates where dynamic prefill is desired.
  • Images such as logos or signatures desired on forms must be part of the template residing on the Letters grid: Sagitta cannot transmit images such as logos or signatures to templates.

Data on the letter templates primarily pulls from the associated policy record.

  • Division information references Division listed at the Policy level
  • Producers and Servicer information reference those listed at the Policy level
  • Payment Remittance Date is calculated as System Date + # Days Payment Remittance value entered on the Accounting Flags page.

Compressed Address fields are available for Client, Bill-To, Division and Department. Using these fields instead of the standard address fields will;

  • Realign lines horizontally when printing 2- vs. 3-line addresses
  • Strip spaces between values when printing City, State and Zip on a single line

When creating templates, embed fields as follows: (File)CompressedAddr1 (File)CompressedAddr2 (File)CompressedAddr3
