Vertafore Book Roll Analytics Setup

Sagitta supports Policy Batch Export process, also known as Vertafore Book Roll. This process allows you to select policies (based on criteria entered) which will be included in a batch export file. The extract file that is created is exported through TransactNow for review by the carrier.

Role-Based Security/Toolbar Setup

Before you can access the new Policy Batch Export page, you must personalize the Role-Based Security page for the role you are assigned to under the Personalization section and be sure the Policy Batch Export page is added to your menu.

How to access this page

To access the Policy Batch Export page:

  1. Click Other

  2. Click Personalization

How to add Role-Based Security to a menu in Sagitta

  1. In the Role-Based Security Code field, enter your role and press the tab key.

  2. Scroll down and expand Personalization.
  3. In the Integration section, click Add.
  4. In the Program field enter CI.220 and press the Tab key. The description field auto updates to Policy Batch Export.
  5. From the Access drop-down select Full Accessand click Save.
  6. Click Save on the Role-Based Security page.

 

Import Export Personalization

When the Sagitta is opened, the Export section of the Import / Export Personalization page is automatically updated with the product codes of BATCHEXP and BATCHTNOW for the File and TransactNow process.

For each product code, you should access the Import/Export Personalization page to view the data under the Export section and verify it meets your agency requirements.

You also need to complete the following fields for each product code.

  1. BATCHEXP
    DATA DIR; FILE MASK
  2. BATCHTNOW
    DATA DIR, FILE MASK, Program Dir and Program

 

  1. On the global top navigation, click Other.
  2. Click Personalization, and on the secondary navigation bar expand Integration.
  3. Select Import/Export Personalization.
  4. In the Program IDfield enter CI.220.
  5. Enter a Staff ID and click Load.

A Staff ID can be entered for Individual access to the Batch Export page. Leave the Staff ID field blank if Import/Export Personalization access should be globally open to everyone at the agency.
  1. In the Export section, under the Product Name column BATCHEXP and BATCHTNOW are listed.
  2. To ensure each product code has the correct Export Information click BATCHEXP and then click Edit.
  3. Enter the following values in the Export Information section of the Import/Export Personalization page:

DATA DIR The drive and directory location for the files you are importing / exporting based on your agency requirements.
FILE MASK VERTAFORE recommends using BOOK.AL3 The file mask represents a specified directory based on where the export files will reside.
  1. Click Save and Add.
  2. Click BATCHTNOW and then click Edit.
  3. Enter the following values in the Export Information section of the Import/Export Personalization page
