eDocs and Messages, Change “Date Sent” Column Header to “Transaction Date” in eDocs UI

Description

Vertafore TransactNOW eDocs and Messages agent users expressed confusion when receiving an eDoc where the “Date Sent” column shows in TransactNOW eDocs as a future date when compared to the Date Received. The “Date Sent” corresponds to the eDocs Transaction Date sent by carriers.

To address this, the TransactNOW team has updated the column header to “Transaction Date” in both the eDocs and Messages user interfaces, as well as in the corresponding eDocs reports. This change ensures the header accurately reflects the data carriers send in this field.

eDocs and Messages, Suppress Spaces in Policy Numbers During Matching Process

Description

Vertafore TransactNOW eDocs and Messages agent users have reported that eDocs and Messages that were sent with policy numbers that include space(s) were not matching correctly in some cases. To resolve this, the TransactNOW team implemented logic to remove spaces and special characters from policy numbers when they are sent by carriers in the eDocs and Messages download. This ensures accurate matching across the system.
