Description

Updates have been implemented to the design and layout of the TransactNOW top navigation bar to align TransactNOW across Vertafore products.

Carrier Passport, Policy Transactions, eDocs and Messages, Claims, and Administration Navigation

Refresher of each navigation link:

• Carrier Passport – Provides the ability to instantly navigate directly into a carrier website, using the credentials or Federation from Credential Manager

• Policy Transactions – The policy management piece of TransactNOW that enables an agent to obtain billing, claims, endorsements, loss run, make a payment, policy view, and quote request from a carrier’s system within seconds from the initial request.

• eDocs and Messages – A real-time (for supporting carriers), secure method for carriers to send agents policy related communications. Transaction types vary by carrier, some common transaction types sent include status updates, cancellation requests and notices, and Policy updates. Carriers may also send policy documents such as Dec pages, Certificates of Insurance, Cancellation Notices.

• Claims Download – A real-time (for supporting carriers), secure way for carriers to send agencies claims details which include Claims info, Claims Status Updates, Payments, Reserve Transactions, Adjuster Assignments, and Claim Number Assignments.

• Administration – Will only appear for those who have administrative rights (agency can set up their admin in Credential Manager). This includes Audit Log of who has logged in at the agency and Transactions reporting.

New eDocs and Messages and Claims Indicator

Agents who have eDocs and Messages and/or Claims Download setup will now see an orange circle indicator that represents “New” received eDocs and Messages and/or Claims. It will appear to the right of eDocs & Messages and/or Claims links in the navigation.

Configuration Navigation (eDocs and Messages and Claims)

Users who have access (Group or Individual User setup in Credential Manager) of eDocs and Messages configuration and Claims configuration will now find eDocs and Messages Configuration and Claims Configuration navigation under the Configuration drop-down menu.

• Support – Will take the user to MyVertafore. This is a resource to find answers and to contact support on all Vertafore products.

Username and Log Out Navigation

The username of the TransactNOW user currently logged in will appear beside the smile icon. Log Out (exit) appears under the Username drop-down menu.

Responsive Navigation

The responsive navigation is an all-or nothing responsive navigation. As soon as one item from the top navigation doesn’t fit, every element goes into the responsive navigation menu on the right of the screen. The user will have an easier view on a small screen such as a tablet or cell phone.

Updates have been implemented to the design and layout of the Credential Manager top navigation bar to align Credential Manager across Vertafore products.

Groups, Users, and Administration Navigation

Refresher of each navigation link:

• Groups – This method of assigning credentials can be useful for large agencies with many users who can share the same set of credentials. This feature is optional and not necessary for agencies who prefer to assign credentials to individuals.

• Users – Agent can manage their own individual credentials or those of other agency users’, if they have permission.

• Administration – Will only appear for those who have administrative rights (agency can set-up their admin in Credential Manager). This includes Agency Credentials export to CSV, Enable or Disable All Users Group, Credential Audit Log, Service Providers, Show/Hide Restricted Data, and User Permission Report
