Delete or disable a VSSO user account
When you need to remove a user's access to your Vertafore products, you have two options: Delete the user's account permanently, or temporarily disable the account so it cannot be used to sign in to Vertafore products.
You must have full administrative rights to see these options. Group administrators will not see them. |
This process does not delete the user's activity in AMS360, PL Rating, or other Vertafore products. To completely remove a user's activity from a Vertafore product, you must log in to each product as an administrator and delete their account in the product. |
- Click Manage Users, and then click the user account you want.
- Click the Product Access tab, and then click the Remove link next to each product in the list. There must be no products in the list.
- At the top of the list of users, click Delete User.
Disabling an account does not make product licenses available for other users. |
If you need to revoke a user’s access to Vertafore products, but you don’t want to delete the account entirely, you can disable the account. No account information is lost when you do this, and you can re-enable the account at any time.
- Click Manage Users, and then click the user account you want.
- Under User Details, clear the Enable this user to sign in using Vertafore Single Sign-On check box.
- Click Save.
