Use the following steps:
Getting Started
- From the Online Services panel, click the Inquiries link. The Inquiries Menu will open.
- Click the PDB Inquiry Firm link. The PDB Firm Inquiry page will open.
Getting Started
- In the AgencyEDGE navigation bar, click the Transactions link. The Transaction List will open in the Home page.
- In the Producer Information Inquiries group, click the Download PDB Report - Firm link. The Firm PDB Report page will open.
Enter Search Criteria
- Review the list of states in the States Participating in PDB section to confirm that information from the state of the firm whose data you want to view is available on the PDB.
- Required. In the Firm EIN field enter the firm's full federal Employer Identification Number.
- Required. In the Firm Name field, enter the firm's legal business name.
- From the Cost Center dropdown menu, select a cost center to which to assign the cost of the PDB lookup.
- Click the Submit button. A list of all firm producers that met your search criteria will display in a list. Or, if no firm producers met your search criteria, the following message will display: "There are no Entities that match your search requirements."
At no charge you may use the
- In the search results list, in the Free Information column click the Last Updated Info link that corresponds to a selected firm producer. The page will refresh to show the Free Information section, displaying the dates on which specific data sections were updated on the PDB.
- If desired, click the firm producer's Name link to open the firm producer's full PDB transcript report. If you do, you will incur a charge for the PDB lookup.
- Click the Back button to return to the search results.
You can view a producer's entire PDB transcript, or you can filter the transcript to include only selected data sections.
- In the search results list, in the Name column click a selected producer's name link

In the Free Information section, click the selected firm producer's name link. The page will refresh and display the selected producer's PDB transcript report. The Results section may include the following types of information:
- Demographics: Aliases and contact information
- Date Updated: Date on which the most recent change in the information was received by the PDB
- License/Appointment Summary: Active and inactive licenses, qualifications, and appointments. Grouped by state, by default
- Certifications and Clearances
- Regulatory Actions
- Use the vertical scrollbar to review the report in its entirety
OR
In the Filter Options section at the top of the page, choose from among the following options to change the format and content of the report:
- To group data by state rather than by type of information, in the Report Format section click to select the Group by State radio button
- To filter the report to display only a particular type of information rather than all information, in the Report Information section click to checkmark the checkbox corresponding to one or multiple data section types
- To filter the report to display information obtained only from one or multiple states rather than all states, click to expand the Advanced Filter Options dropdown and then click to checkmark the checkbox corresponding to one or multiple states
- Click the Apply Filter button. The report will refresh to reflect your filter options.
- To print the report, click the Print button () at the top of the page or press Ctrl + P on your computer keyboard.
- When you are finished, click the New Inquiry button. The search page will open.
Click the Transactions link in the navigation bar or the breadcrumbs to exit.

You may enter a portion of the producer's names in the Firm Name fields combined with an asterisk (*) to perform a "wildcard" search. The search will return all records of producers whose names satisfied the wildcard search. (For example, if you enter "FI*" in the Firm Name field, the system will return all records of firm producers whose first names begin with "Fi", including "First," "Financial," "Fidelity," etc.) |
The system searches for records containing all – not just any – of the search criteria you enter. So if you enter valid search criteria in every field except one, the system will not retrieve the record. If no record is found, try reducing the amount of data entered. |

In the Filter Options section of a PDB transcript report, you may click the Apply Filter button as many times as desired to customize the view of the currently displaying PDB lookup without incurring additional charges. |
In the Filter Options section of a PDB transcript report, use the Company Appointments and the States filter controls together to show only appointment data for one or multiple My Companies in one or multiple states. |
