AIM to VPI Integration
AIM no longer supports an VPI integration using an embedded IE browser. Now, when clicking the “Policy Issuance” button, VPI will open in a new window of your system’s default browser.

The following message will also open in AIM. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW.

Clicking Cancel will terminate the VPI/VPB process and your policy PDF will not be added back into AIM. If you click Cancel, you will receive another window requesting confirmation.

When VPI finishes generating the PDF, it will be saved in AIM or, if using ImageRight document integration, it will be saved in ImageRight. Depending on the browser you are using, you may need to perform an action to allow AIM to retrieve the PDF:
FireFox
Select AIMProtocolHandler.exe and click Open Link. To avoid this pop-up in the future, you may check the “Always use this application to open aim links” box.
Chrome
Select “Open AIMProtocolHandler.exe”. To avoid this pop-up in the future, you may check the “Always allow vpidev.vertafore.com to open links of this type in the associated app” box.
Edge
Select "Open". To avoid this pop-up in the future, you may check the "Always allow vpidev.vertafore.com to open links of this type in the associated app" box.
