Truckers Line of Business
The purpose of the Truckers line of business form is to gather information specific to the policy you are attaching this line of business to.
- Click New on the Line of Business section bar, and then select Truckers from the Line of Business list.
- Click Add on the section bar. The new Line of Business appears in the Line of Business list.
- Click Truckers from the Line of Business list (see example).
Do one of the following:
- Click Edit on the Line of Business section bar, and then click Truckers from the Line of Business list.
- In the Customer Center, search for and select the customer. With a customer record open, from the sidebar menu select Views > Policies. Click Truckers at the bottom of the Policy Summary view.
The Line of Business list is filtered by the Type of Business selected in the Basic Policy Information section, only if the Filter data entry and lines of business by Type of Business check box is also selected. Enter information for both Truckers & Motor Carriers on this form. AMS360 prints the appropriate ACORD form for the information you enter.
The Truckers/Motor Carrier policy uses numeric symbols to indicate the types of vehicles for which coverage is in effect. For a list of the symbols and their definitions, click the word symbols.

To assign covered auto symbols:
- Expand the Covered Auto Symbols section, and then select or type the symbols that apply to the covered truckers and motor carriers. If you select the Specifically Described Autos check box or a specific coverage from the Other Coverage/Symbols list, type the symbols.
- In the Truckers Endorsement/Remarks and Motor Carrier Endorsement/Remarks fields, type any endorsements or additional information included on this policy.
To enter premiums in the Policy form:
- Expand the Total Premium section.
- Enter the premium total in the Premium field for the entire line of business, or you can enter the individual coverage premiums as you enter the detail.
- Click Calculate to have AMS360 add the amounts entered for the individual coverages and display the total in the Premium field.

Click Set all "No" to answer all questions "No." You can then change individual answers as necessary. Explain "Yes" answers in the Remarks section.
Click New (or Edit) and enter the following information. When finished, click Add (or Update). The updated information appears in the associated grid. To add multiple entries, repeat this procedure. |
Form # | Policy form number or company form designation for the type of policy/coverage desired. |
Edition Date | Enter the Edition Date that applies to this form (MM/YYYY) |
Form Name | Enter the name of the form. |
Description | Enter the form description. |
Eff/Exp Date | Enter the effective and expiration dates for the form. |
Some fields may not be available depending on the type of line of business.
Type additional information about the policy, risk, or subject of insurance that is not entered elsewhere.
