Merge Field Hint

This data entry form allows you to add a hint to the data being merged. It helps the person creating the form letter to identify what information is being requested.

Example:

For a private passenger auto policy the merge field title may be deductible. You can set a hint that reads,"Select Comprehensive Deductible."

You can access the Merge Field Hint data entry form from the Merge Field Editor by doing the following:

To add or edit a hint, enter the hint in the text box and choose the Save button when you are finished. There is no limit to the information you can enter here.

Cancel

Ignores the information you have entered on the form and returns you to the Merge Field Editor data entry form.

Save

Save the information you have entered on the form and returns you to the Merge Field Editor data entry form.
