Sales Center

The Sales Center in AMS360 provides you with an at-a-glance view of the totals for active customers, prospects, suspects, and in-force policies. The Sales Center also provides you the tools to create Target Lists (a database query tool), Import Lead Lists (via Leadlist Administration), and create Campaigns. Once you have created a target list you can Map the locations of the participants in the list.

You must have proper security authorization to access the Sales Center.

In-Force Personal Policies

For a policy to be counted with the In-Force Personal Policies the following conditions must be met:

  • The policy does not have a deleted status.

  • The policy expiration date is greater than or equal to the current system date.

  • The latest policy transaction is not one of the following:

  • Cancellation Confirmation - XLC

  • Cancellation Request - XLN

  • Non-Renewal Notified Agency - NRA

  • Non-Renewal Notified Policy Holder - RWX.

  • At least one personal line of business must exist on the policy.

In-Force Commercial Policies

For a policy to be counted with the In-Force Commercial Policies the following conditions must be met:

  • The policy does not have a deleted status.

  • The policy expiration date is greater than or equal to the current system date.

  • The latest policy transaction is not a Cancellation Confirmation - XLC, Cancellation Request - XLN, Non-Renewal Notified Agency - NRA, or a Non-Renewal Notified Policy Holder - RWX.

  • At least one commercial line of business must exist on the policy.

In-Force Non Property and Casualty Policies

For a policy to be counted with the In-Force Non Property and Casualty Policies the following conditions must be met:

  • The policy does not have a deleted status.

  • The policy expiration date is greater than or equal to the current system date.

  • The latest policy transaction is not one of the following:

  • Cancellation Confirmation - XLC

  • Cancellation Request - XLN

  • Non-Renewal Notified Agency - NRA

  • Non-Renewal Notified Policy Holder - RWX.

  • At least one non-property and casualty line of business must exist on the policy.

The graph that displays when you open the Sales Center is generated in real-time. The following is how the In-Force Policies and Cancelled and Non-Renewed Policies totals are calculated.

The Target Lists tab displays when you open the Sales Center. The table displays all saved Target Lists.

The default sort is in alphabetical ascending order by Name. However, you can sort by Date, Author, Description, # of Customers, # of Policies, or # of Lines of Business by clicking one of these headers. The first time you click one of the headers the list sorts in ascending order. A second click on the same header sorts the information in descending order.

What is This?

The Target List Map icon. Click to view a map of locations for the participants in the Target List.

Name

The Name given to the Target List at the time it is created and saved.

Date

The Date the Target List is saved.

Author

The name of the employee that created and saved the Target List.

Description

The Description entered for the Target List at the time it is created and saved.

# of Customers

The number of Customers included in the Target List at the time it is saved.

# of Policies

The number of Policies included in the Target List at the time it is saved.

# of Lines of Business

The number of Lines of Business included in the Target List at the time it is saved.

    ClosedView Options

You can change the Target Lists that display by using the following option:

Campaigns Columns

What is This?

Title

The name given to the Campaign at the time it is created and saved. Click the title to open and view the Campaign.

Date Started

This is the Start Date entered for the Campaign in the Basic Information/Flow Control section of the Campaigns data entry form.

This date is always the date entered and does not reflect the first time the campaign is run through Daily Process.

Author

The name of the employee that created and saved the Campaign.

Objective

The Objective entered for the Campaign at the time it is created and saved.

Status

The current Status of the Campaign. The options are:

  • Suspended

  • Not Suspended (Active)

Last Process Date

The date the Campaign was last processed using Daily Process.

Total Participants

The total number of Participants attached to the Campaign.

    ClosedCharts

Use this view to see bar charts of the following:

    ClosedNew Clients Added to the Agency

The New Clients Added to the Agency chart is calculated as follows:

  • This chart is calculated by summing all customer rows in the database where the Customer Added Date falls on or within the date range specified.

    ClosedNew Policies Added to the Agency

The New Policies Added to the Agency are calculated as follows:

  • The policy status is not delete.

  • The policy type is a policy, not a submission.

  • The policy has the Business New to Agency checkbox checked in the Basic Policy Information section.

  • The policy effective date falls on or within the date range specified.

    ClosedView Options

You can change the charts and the information they include using the following options:

Chart View Options

What is This?

Type

Use to select up to six charts to display based on customers or policies added to the agency with varying Date Ranges, View Sizes, and Generated intervals.

Date Range

Use to select a Date Range for the Chart.

View Size

Use to select a display size for the Chart. The default isMediumand will display six charts on one page.

Generated

Use to select the frequency of generating the Charts. Once per day is the default. If you choose Real-time the charts are generated each time you click the Chart tab.

Custom Chart Options

Use to select the chart Type, View Size, listed Date Range, or user-selected Date Range. Then, click View Chart and a custom chart appears in another window for side-by-side comparison.

The number of Custom Charts is limited only by the capacity of your workstation. Each chart appears in a separate window.

Custom Charts cannot be saved as the Agency or User default views.

Save as Agency Default View

Use to save the view options you have selected as the agency default for all users when you click Apply.

This option appears only if you have proper authorization.

Save as User Default View

Use to save the selected view options as your user default when you click Apply.

Apply

Use to display Charts that meet the criteria you have selected from the View Options section.

Apply Default

Applies the last saved user, or agency default view options.

  • If both exist, the user default takes precedence.

  • If neither exist, then the system defaults are applied.
