Additional Interest Setup

Use Additional Interest Setup to identify banks, loss payees, mortgage companies, and certificate holders that apply to multiple insureds. For example, GMAC, Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, the county building department, cities, and municipalities. You can also import a list of additional interests or certificate holders using this feature.

Once set up, they appear throughoutAMS360in a list wherever you enterAdditional InterestorCertificate Holders.

If an additional interest applies to only one insured, enter it on the policy or the data entry form instead of entering it in Additional Interest Setup.

    ClosedAccessing Additional Interest Setup

You can access Additional Interest Setup from any center or form that has a Toolbox menu, by clicking Toolbox > System Administration > Customer/Policy Setups > Additional Interests.

You must have proper authorization to access Additional Interest Setup.

What is this?

Type

Select a Type of Additional Interest from the list. In a data entry form, selecting a Type filters the number of names in the list.

Master Certificate Holder

When checked, the Additional Other Interest appears in the Master Certificate Holder list.

Name

Enter the name as you want it to appear on the data entry forms including capitalization and punctuation.

Contact

Enter the contact information that you want to appear on the data entry forms, including capitalization and punctuation.

Address
City
State
Zip

The address that you want to appear on the data entry forms including capitalization and punctuation.

Phone Numbers

The phone numbers that you want to appear on the data entry forms including capitalization and punctuation.

Email

If entered, the email address is available in the Contacts where you can use it to start an email message.

    ClosedImporting Additional Interests

You can import a CSV file of Additional Interests, including Master Certificate Holders using the import feature in Additional Interest Setup. To open the Import Additional Interests data entry form, click File>Import CSV, or click the Import CSV icon on the tool bar. This opens the Import Additional Interests form.
