Policy Level Coverage

If this is a Policy Level Coverage check this option. Only Coverages with this flag appear in the Coverage list at the Policy level.

These coverages are listed in the Policy Coverage sub-section of the Commercial Information section of the Policy data entry form.

Active

Verify that Active is checked. This causes the Coverage or Endorsement to appear in the Coverage list.

    ClosedPermanent Coverage and Endorsements

AMS360 includes a set of permanent coverages and endorsements (identified by an 'X' in the Permanent column) that cannot be deleted. ACORD standard Coverages and Endorsements are permanent.

You can edit certain fields for permanent Coverages and Endorsements or you can change the status, which controls whether the Coverage or Endorsement appears in lists throughout AMS360. See Workflow: Add, Edit, and Delete Coverages and Endorsements for further instructions.

Vertafore suggests that you use caution when editing permanent coverages and endorsements as it may adversely affect Download, Upload, and Integration.

What's Next?

After setting up Coverages and Endorsements you must now associate them with a line of business before they will appear in Coverage lists. See Line of Business Setup for more information on this process.
