Shortcut Utility

This form allows you to update your Favorites and shortcuts to point to the most current version of AMS360.

You can access the Shortcut Utility from any center or form that has a Toolbox menu. Click Toolbox > System Administration > Utilities > Update 360 Shortcut Versions.

Starting Directory

The directory that you want the utility to search to make the version changes. The directory defaults to the \Documents and Settings directory for the user currently logged onto the workstation. However, you can change this.

The utility will search all subfolders within the directory.

Search

Use to locate another starting directory besides the default.

Domain To Search

This is used to identify the favorites and shortcuts to change.

  • AMS360 Online users - the default is ams360.com.

  • AMS360 In-House users - change this to the [domain].com of your In-House server domain.

From Version

The version that currently exists in your favorites and shortcuts. The older version defaults here, but can be changed.

To Version

The new version to which you want to change your favorites and shortcuts. The new version defaults here, but can be changed.

(Status)

Display only. Use to view the status of the utility.

Files Changed

Display only. Lists the files that were changed by the utility.

Details

Display only. Show the coding changes made in the files.

Start

Click to start the utility, once you have made your selections.
