Relative to today's date, when a billing transaction is posted and the later of the invoice date or invoice effective date is equal to or less than the number of days to bill in advance (set in Agency Setup), the billing transaction is given an invoice number.
Relative to today's date, when a billing transaction is posted and the later of the invoice date or invoice effective date is greater than the number of days to bill in advance, the transaction is given an invoice number of 0 (future invoice). Once the transaction meets the number of days to bill in advance (through Daily Process), AMS360 gives the transaction a real invoice number.
