Use to open the TransactNOW form for a policy in which the parent company on the policy may or may not be a TransactNOW company, to get a quote from another parent company that must be set up as a TransactNOW company.

This could be used for a renewal quote. To perform the TNOW Quote do the following:

1. Open the policy Dec Page.

2. Click Quote TNOW from the Policy menu. The TransactNOW form opens.

3. Check the Quote Request checkbox, if not already checked.

4. From the Company list, select the company you want to quote the policy. The list includes only those parent companies that are set up to support Quotes in TransactNOW Setup.

5. Fill in or use the date picker to select the appropriate Tran. Eff. Date (transaction effective date), the Effective and Expiration Dates for the policy quote.

6. Click Submit.

If the parent company currently on the policy is a TransactNOW company, or if you pick another TransactNOW parent company from the Company list, you can also do an Inquiry from the same form. However, the company you select must also be set up for the type of Inquiry you're requesting. Note that the quote and inquiry processes are mutually exclusive, and only one can be done at a time.
