My Reports Tab

BenefitPoint Business Intelligence (BBI) My Reports tab provides:

  • A list of parameter sets you have saved for various reports.

  • Report results you have saved.

  • Reports you have generated within the past 30 days.

This tab is available only if you have been granted permission to BenefitPoint Business Intelligence (BBI).

 

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Business Intelligence. The page opens in a new window.

  2. Click the My Reports tab.

  3. In the hierarchy on the left, expand the category containing the report you want to view.

     

The following selections appear under My Reports:

My Saved Parameters

The set of parameters you entered are saved so that you can easily run the report again using the same parameters. When you re-run the report using the saved parameters, the report includes data matching the selection criteria as of the date you run the report.

Copy Saved Report Parameters

You can change the parameters of the report before copying it. The changed parameters are saved. The original saved parameter is not changed. A new name appears as "Copy of x".

  1. To copy the parameters, click the name of the parameters from My Saved Parameters. The parameter selections window opens.

  2. Select Copy. A copy of the saved parameters appears in the Saved Parameters list of reports.

Delete Saved Report Parameters

To delete the parameters:

  1. To delete the parameters, click the name of the parameter from My Saved Parameters. The parameter selections window opens.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Click Delete to continue or Cancel to abort.

My Saved Results

The report is saved with the results, so that you can easily view the report again. With this option, when you re-run the report, the results are the same as on the date you originally ran the report.

To Save Report Results

  1. Select a report you want to run.

  2. Select new report parameters, or select a report from My Saved Parameters.

  3. Click Run Report.

  4. Click Save Report Result.

  5. Enter a meaningful title for the report.

  6. Select an expiration date for the results to purge from the database. The default is 15 days, minimum is 1 day and maximum is 90 days.

  7. Click Save.

To Delete Saved Results

  1. To delete the  parameters, click the name of the parameter from My Saved Parameter. The parameter selections window opens.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Click Delete to continue or Cancel to abort.

 

Recently Executed Parameters

This section lists all of the reports you have run within the last 30 days.
