Activity Log Records

Before you can do any account activities, you must first create an account. Once you have created an account, follow these instructions:

  1. Click Accounts in the primary navigation.
  2. Find the account that you need. Use the Select List View filters at the top of the page to sort the list, or click an alphabet hyperlink to sort by a letter.
  3. Select one of the account actions below for further instructions.

 

Quick Start Activity Log

With the 2015 R2 release, you can now add an activity log record on the fly while staying wherever you are in the broker module. A new icon is now added to the main navigation menu bar to quickly start an activity log record wherever you are within the broker module.

To add an activity log

  1. On the top right, click on . The Add Activity Log page appears.
  2. Enter the Account name and click Next. The Activity Log Record page appears.
  3. Complete all the required fields and click Save.

Quick Start Activity Log is a slimmed down version of the activity log functionality available within the account (from the Activity Log Record Lists page).

  • Insured Access fields are not available.
  • Custom Fields triggered per Custom Subject are not available on Add, but are available later on Edit.
  • Created by and Assigned to are set to the user adding the quick start Activity Log record.
  • Attachments and Activities are not available at this time, but are available once the record has been saved on edit.
  • Associations for Plans and Requests are not available on create, but are available on edit.
