eStatement Errors
Here are some common errors you may encounter when using eStatements tool.

Description
You create the statement file, upload into BenefitPoint, provide your log on credentials and the following error message appears:
Access Denied
Permission: You are not authorized to access the requested information. Please check with your administrator about gaining permission to this information.
Resolution
The above issue occurs when the RTM Admin does not have the correct permissions. The RTM user must have Splits selected. A broker admin can provide this permission.
- Log on to BenefitPoint as a Broker Admin user.
- On the top navigation bar, click Users.
- Locate the user you want to add the permissions to.
- From the Action drop-down and click Edit User.
- In the Roles section, expand the RTM Admin role and check mark Splits.
- Click Save.
- Retry the eStatement upload.

Description
When you open a eStatement, the following error appears:
Unable to find eStatement.mdb file - You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'C:\eStatement.mdb' object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you.
Resolution
The above error may be caused by inadequate permissions on your workstation. Review the User Account Control (UAC), feature in Windows which can help you stay in control of your computer by informing you when a program makes a change that requires administrator-level permission.
From your workstation
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Click User Accounts.
- Click Change User Account Control settings.
- Change the bar to Never Notify and click OK.
- Re-try opening eStatements.
