How to upload quotes

In order to access all quotes that were saved prior to activating Quotes in the Cloud for your agency, they must be uploaded to our secure data center. This is a one-time process that can be repeated if you have multiple quote directories. You will repeat this process for each directory from which you need to upload.

If quotes are saved locally on each users’ workstation, these steps must also be repeated from each workstation.

To initiate the upload process:

  1. Login to FSC Rater using Principal or Administrator credentials.

All users must be logged off of FSC Rater when completing an upload to cloud storage.

  1. Click Quote Management under the Utilities section of the Main View.

  1. Click Upload Quotes to the Cloud.

  1. Select the folder/directory where your quotes are stored to be uploaded to cloud storage.

  1. The quotes folder will be prepared for upload. This process may take several minutes depending on the number of quotes you have saved in the directory. During this time you will see a progress window.

  1. Once the quotes folder has been prepared for upload, select any necessary filters and click OK.

  1. Select the quotes that you would like to upload, and click OK. This will initiate the upload process. The upload time will vary depending on your internet connection, the number of quotes you select to upload, and the amount of data stored within the quotes. The quotes upload at an approximate rate of 1000 quotes per minute.

  1. You will be presented with a successful message once the upload has completed. If you have additional directories where you store your quotes you will need to repeat this process for each directory.

In order to access your quotes, log off and close FSC Rater and log on again.
