Agency Managed MA e-Stamps

DESCRIPTION

Added e-stamps upload and storage for Massachusetts auto. Carriers issue e-stamps to agencies to use on the RMV-1 and RMV-3 forms. Agents can now upload and store their e-stamps in PL Rating (Figure 1).

1. Go to: Admin > Manage MA e-Stamps

   

2. Select New to upload a new e-Stamp and locate the e-Stamp that has been saved locally on your computer

   

3. Upload image, add description, and click Save

   NOTE: If no description is added, the default description will be the image file name.

   

   NOTE: The maximum image dimensions for MA e-Stamps are 5/8” by 2 & 5/8”. If the image is too large you will get a pop-up warning (figure below).

   You can manage the e-Stamp storage on the MA e-Stamp Summary page. Here you can delete and edit your saved e-Stamps (Figure 5).

Carrier Managed MA e-Stamps

DESCRIPTION

Vertafore Internal Users only will be able to create carrier specific MA e-stamps for carriers & assign to their agents.

• Agents will not have the ability to add or remove the e-stamps that have been created on behalf of the carrier. They will have the ability to upload their own, but will not see the e-stamps created by us per the carrier on the Manage MA e-stamps section because they cannot make changes to those.

• Agents apply the e-stamp to the RTA form same as they do today. Any e-stamp that has been assigned to that agency will show up in the list of e-stamps when they select to apply one to the form.

If an agency needs access to a specific carrier MA e-stamp they should reach out to the carrier.

Adding the E-Stamp to Forms

DESCRIPTION

Added ability to attach an e-stamp to the MA 2A Form or RMV Registration and Title Application forms for Massachusetts Auto (Figure 1). In a previous release (18R5) we added the ability to upload and manage e-stamps for MA Auto.

1. Selecting e-stamp and signature option to add to RMV forms

3. Image below shows e-stamp selection with signature. Here you can also select the vehicle (pulled from vehicles on the quote) to apply to the form. You can also create a form here.
