Vertafore is pleased to release PL Rating 2020 R3. With each release, we are incrementally improving and updating PL Rating to provide you with the best possible experience.

ClosedProperty Information
DESCRIPTION

In a continuing effort to reduce the number of company questions we have added and updated questions on the Property Information screen for AL, AR, DC, DE, ID, LA, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, WA, WV & WY.

Users can update their quote template(s) to set defaults for these fields!

The new property information fields are:

  • Members in Household

  • Number of Stories

  • Foundation Type

  • Number of Bathrooms

  • Roof Shape

  • Hail Resistive Roof

  • Number of Roof Layers

  • Primary & Auxiliary Heat Type - Added several more choices as well as the number of each and tank location where needed.

  • Trampoline

  • Swimming Pool

  • Hot Tub

  • Any smokers in household

  • Community

  • Animals on Premises

What's New for All States

ClosedUse Templates with Integration
DESCRIPTION

When importing (integrating) information into PL Rating from your management system or from a lead generator the values that are in your selected template will populate the quote first then the imported values will be imported.

You must have a template and the check box marked before you import for the template to populate for imports.

You will not be able to choose a template at the time of the import. The template you selected for all new quotes will automatically be selected at time of import.

What's New for ID, OR, and WA Auto

ClosedFinancial Responsibility Filings, Named Non-Owner and Broad Form
DESCRIPTION

Added a field to the Driver Information Page per driver for ID, OR and WA labeled Filing with options of:

  • None
  • SR-22

Note, the filing was previously collected under Incidents and has been removed.

For ID, OR and WA, the option for Non-Owner has been added to the General Information page.

For WA, the option for Broad Form Named Operator has been added to the General Information page.

Other Release Items

DESCRIPTION
Operation ID added to Additional Info Credits & Adjustments for AL, AR, DC, DE, ID, LA, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, WA, WV & WY Home.
DE, ID, NE, NM, NV, OR, WA & WV Home: Removed Wood/Coal Burning Device and/or Wood Stove from Additional Information Page. This information is now collected on the Property Information Page.
AZ Auto – State Minimum Liability Limits Increase Effective 7/1/2020 – removed lower limits.
MI Auto – State Minimum Liability Limit Increase Effective 7/2/2020 – removed lower limits.
Added Model Year 2021 for vehicles.
Added one-way integration with Veruna.
Package – auto and home quotes will show under one client on the Safeco website when bridging package from PL Rating.
