Print a License

Use the Print a License service to download a copy of your license from certain states. Once the license copy is downloaded, you can print a paper copy.

Use the following steps:

Choose Service

On the Navigation Bar, click Print a License.The Print a License page will open.

ClosedTo print an individual licensee's license:
  1. Required. In the Is the licensee an individual or a firm? field, click to select the Individual radio button.
  2. Required. From the Licensing State dropdown menu, select the name of state that has issued the license you want to download and print.
  3. Required. In the SSN (Last four digits) field, enter the last four digits of the Social Security Number of the individual licensee whose license you want to download and print.
  4. Required. In the Last Name field, enter the last name of the individual licensee whose license you want to download and print.
  5. Required. In the License Number field, enter the license number of the individual licensee's license in the selected state that you want to download and print.
  6. Click the Continue button. The Summary of Licenses to Print page will open, displaying basic license and fee information.
  7. Review the information on the Summary of Licenses to Print page. If multiple licenses display, click the Remove () button to remove any licenses you do not wish to download and print. Otherwise, all displayed licenses will be downloaded.
  8. To proceed, click the Continue button. The Payment Details page will open. On the Payment Details page, enter your electronic payment information.
  9. When you are ready to submit your transaction together with your payment information, click the Submit button. The selected license(s) will display, including a wallet size version.
  10. Click the Print button in the toolbar at the top of the page to print the license to a local printer.
  11. Click the View Confirmation button in the toolbar at the top of the page to open the transaction confirmation page.

If the system was unable to process your request, the Find License(s) Available for Printing page will refresh and display an error message. Review the list of possible causes of the error and retry the action.

You can reprint a license at any time within 30 days of the transaction at no additional charge. If you are an individual licensee and a ProducerEDGE subscriber, you can print a license at any time for free. Free license printing is available only for licenses obtained through Vertafore Online Services, Compliance Express, AgencyEDGE, or ProducerEDGE.

If you obtained your license through ProducerEDGE, you can reprint it at any time for free. Note that a license copy that reflects a name change still will incur a license printing fee.

In certain states, a printed license for either an individual or a firm now may include the licensee’s alias name in the state, in addition to the licensee’s legal name.

The Print a License service supports direct license printing for "Sircon States" and offers links to print licenses for all other states. When using the service for license printing where direct service is not available, after selecting the state name from the Licensing State dropdown menu, the following message displays: “License printing is not available through Sircon for the state of [StateName]. Click the following link to print your [StateName] license - you will be redirected to the state or a third party website.” Click the link to open a separate browser window offering alternate license printing services.
