Set up RTI (Real Time Inquiry)

If you have signed up with Vertafore to use Real Time Inquiry (RTI), you can set it up in QQCatalyst to allow you to connect to carriers' data systems to view information about a customer's policy, endorsements, and billing.

 

No data is transferred when using RTI. Data can be viewed only.

To set up RTI in QQCatalyst:

  1. In the Global Navigation bar, mouse over [Your Name] > Preferences, and then click Global Preferences.
  2. Click the RTI Setup tab. The carriers that are available for RTI are displayed.
  3. Click a carrier in the list.
  4. In the Carrier List window, select the check boxes preceding each carrier that you want to activate, and then click Save.

To access RTI from a policy:

  1. In the Global Navigation bar, click Contacts, and then search for the customer with the policy for which you want to perform an RTI.
  2. Click the Customer's name.
  3. Click the Policies tab, and then in the Policy list, click the policy.
  4. In the toolbar, click Policy ActionReal Time Inquiry.
