Using an e-Signature Service with QQCatalyst (DocuSign, HelloSign, Formstack Sign)

If you are an DocuSign, HelloSign, or Formstack Sign customer, you can send ACORD forms to DocuSign, HelloSign, or Formstack Sign to create the signature/initial placeholders. The form can then be sent to the customer for a signature. No setup is necessary in QQCatalyst.

 

DocuSign, HelloSign, and Formstack Sign are not QQCatalyst products. QQCatalyst provides the ability to export the ACORD form to DocuSign, HelloSign, or Formstack Sign. For issues or information about using DocuSign, HelloSign, or Formstack Sign, contact DocuSign, HelloSign, or Formstack Sign.

QQCatalyst connects with three separate e-signature services.

  • DocuSign
  • HelloSign
  • Formstack Sign

To use the integration, you will first need an account with one of these three providers. Please reach out to them to get set up.

Once you have an account, follow these instructions to get up and running.

Closed DocuSign

The DocuSign/QQCatalyst integration allows documents like ACORD forms to be sent to DocuSign for signature. Signed documents will automatically appear under the Files section of a Contact in QQCatalyst.

To integrate QQCatalyst with DocuSign follow the steps below:

  1. (If necessary) Go to docusign.com and create an account.
  2. In QQCatalyst, find a file you would like to send to DocuSign for signing.
  3. Select the file.
  4. Click e-sign from the dropdown and select DocuSign.
  5. You will be prompted to login; enter your DocuSign login credentials.

  1. In DocuSign, click Manage at the top of the browser.
  2. Select Draft.
  3. Click Continue.

  1. Once finished signing, the file will go to DocuSign and QQCatalyst as a .pdf.

Additional Information:

  • Each employee using DocuSign will need his or her own DocuSign account login information.
  • To remove QQCatalyst from your DocuSign account, login to DocuSign > go to My Preferences > Privacy and Security > Manage Apps, and select Revoke where it says QQCatalyst.
  • Files sent from DocuSign will appear in QQCatalyst under the same location they were originally found and will be labeled "Signed - ..."
  • Most files and ACORD forms can be sent to DocuSign. ACORD forms will be returned to QQCatalyst under the "Files" tab, not the "ACORD" tab.
ClosedHelloSign

The HelloSign/QQCatalyst integration allows documents like ACORD forms to be sent to HelloSign for signature. Signed documents will remain in HelloSign.

ClosedFormstack Sign

The Formstack Sign/QQCatalyst integration allows documents like ACORD forms to be sent to Formstack Sign for signature. Signed documents will automatically appear under the Files section of a Contact in QQCatalyst.
