Manage Agency Information

The Agency Information section, allows an Agency Admin to update the Submission Defaults, Activity Defaults and the Type of Business Defaults.

Access Agency Information

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and click on the Settings tile. The Setting page appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Settings and then select Agencies. Your Active Agency list appears.
  3. In the Name column, select your agency name. The Agency Information page appears.
  4. The General section provides your agency’s

    1. Name – Enter your agency name.
    2. AMS360 Agency Number – Your AMS360 Agency number.
    3. Vertafore ID – Enter your Agency’s Vertafore ID.
    4. Impersonator - Enter your default agency admin name, used by SalesTrack to receive and send information from AMS360.
    5. Integration User Id – Enter the default Admin's email ID.

The information in the general section is locked and can be changed by a Vertafore Admin only. Please create a case in My Vertafore if you need any changes to this section.

Set Activity Defaults

Agency Activity Defaults are required fields to ensure smoother integration with your management systen.

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and click on the Settings tile. The Setting page appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Settings and then select Agencies. Your Active Agency list appears.
  3. In the Name column, select your agency name. The Agency Information page appears.
  4. In the Activity Defaults section, make your selection
    1. Appointment – Choose Appointment.
    2. Email – Choose between E-mail Out or E-mail In.
    3. Phone Call – Choose between Telephone In or Telephone Out.
    4. Task – Choose per agency policy.


For all Activity Defaults, choose per agency policy. Vertafore recommends that you create Activity Actions within AMS360 labeled as SalesTrack - Task, SalesTrack - Email etc. for clearer understanding when information maps to AMS360.

Set Submission Defaults

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and select the Settings tile. The Setting page appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Settings and then select Agencies. Your Active Agency list appears.
  3. In the Name column, select your agency name. The Agency Information page appears.
  4. In the Submissions Defaults section, select the:
    1. Default Submission Name – Provide a default name for your submission.
    2. Default Submission Number – This can be a text and/or number field. Enter an identifiable number for your reference when the record appears in the AMS360 Customer Submissions page.
    3. Default Issuing Carrier – Select the default issuing carrier you want. This is the carrier, where all submissions from SalesTrack goes to in AMS360.
    4. Default Bill Method – Select the Default Bill Method you want.


Set Type of Business Defaults

  1. On the top navigation bar, click on the Vertafore logo and click on the Settings tile. The Setting page appears.
  2. On the top navigation bar click on Settings and then select Agencies. Your Active Agency list appears.
  3. In the Type of Business Defaults section, select how you want each Type of Business to integrate over to AMS360. For each Type of Business you can choose if you want a Shell Policy or Shell Submission, based on your Agency business practice.
  4. For each Type of Business you can choose a Default Policy Status.
    1. For the Default Policy Status of a Policy choose Quote or Active.
    2. For the Default Policy Status of a Submission choose Quote or Active.

You selection here will determines where the information can be accessed from within AMS360.
