Work with Users
Only a Sales Manager or a Agency Admin has the required permission to access Users and their corresponding settings.
Add a User
Add users through VSSO and enable the user to have access to SalesTrack. For information on adding users through VSSO click here.
Assign a Security Role to a User from VSSO
Role assignments are completed through the VSSO> Configure option. For more information on configuring a User’s role click here.
Edit User Profile
- On the top navigation bar click on the Vertafore logo and select the Settings tile.
- Click on Settings and then choose Security.
- Click on Users. A list of all enabled users appears.
- Click on your name. Your user record appears.
- Ensure the Account Information, User Information, Organization Information and the Details section is accurate.
All information entered here will be visible to all users within the agency. |
Delete User
Just as we add a user through VSSO, a user can be deleted through VSSO. We recommend that you remove SalesTrack from the user in VSSO. This will sync and deactivate the user in SalesTrack.
If you add the product back to the user in VSSO. They become activated in SalesTrack. If you deactivate the user only in SalesTrack this will be sync back to VSSO.

Change Position
In this release, this feature is currently not supported.
User Permissions by Role
User permissions by role are set in VSSO. The following lists permissions for producers to access Leads, Opportunities and Accounts. Contact your agency admin for changes to your access.

Producer with Limited Access can view All Accounts even if he/she is not the owner and can only view its child records if he/she is owner of that child record. Producer with Full Access can view All Accounts even if he/she is not the owner and also can view all of its child records if he/she is not the owner of that child record. |
