Business Unit Setup

Business unit structure in AMS360 may consist of two, three or four structural levels based on your agency's needs. The multi-level design of Business Unit Setup allows agencies the greatest flexibility in the following areas:

  • Categorizing income and expenses by business unit.
  • Restricting employee security access by business unit.
  • Accounting and policy reporting by business unit.

The Business Unit Setup form is used for name and address setup at each level and to assign relationships between the levels.

You must first turn on the desired business unit levels from within the Agency Setup > Accounting Options form by selecting the appropriate Business Unit check boxes in order to properly complete Business Unit Setup.
