Report: Broker Business Summary

The purpose of this report is to provide the agency a summary of agency commission derived from brokered business. This report includes all broker commission activity, regardless of whether the broker is a net or a gross broker.

Only posted billing activity is reported. Customer Center suspended billings and unposted Direct Bill Statement activity is not reported.

Report Selections

What is this?

Date Range

Option	What is this?
From List	Use this option to select a pre-defined date range from the list. The default option is Current Month.
Select Dates	Use this option to type in a specific date range not covered by the choices in the From List option.

Broker

The default is (All) brokers, or you can select a specific broker or multiple brokers.

Business Unit

Click the link to open the Business Unit Selections form and make your selections.

Description

Accept the default description, or enter a new one that describes the report you are requesting.

Print Cover Page

Allows you to include a cover page listing the selected options included in the report. This option defaults as unchecked.

Report Fields

Report Fields	Description
Broker Name	Name of the broker.
Premium	Total billed premiums for the selected period for the listed broker.
Non-premium	Total billed non-premiums (taxes, fees) for the selected period for the listed broker.
Agency Commission	Total agency commissions for the selected period for the listed broker.
Broker Commission	Total broker commissions for the selected period for the listed broker.
Employee Commission	Total employee (executive and rep) commissions for the selected period for the listed broker.
Net Agency Commission	Net agency commissions for the selected period for the listed broker. This amount consists of Agency Commission - (Broker Commission + Employee Commission).
