Report: Employee Commission Setup

The Employee Commission Setup report provides a list of commissions by employee as defined in setup.

Access this report in one of two ways:

  • Select from Quick Reports in the Employee Center sidebar.
  • On the 360Toolbox menu, click Classic Reports to open Reports - All where you can make your selection.
  • You can also access this report from any data entry form that has a Toolbox menu. Selecting Toolbox > Reports takes you to the Reports - All list.
    • Click Employee Commission Setup. The Report -Employee Commission Setup selection form opens.

 

Report Selection GroupsWhat is this?

Employee

Choose an individual employee, multiple employees or All employees from the drop down list.

Employee Type

Group/FieldWhat is this?

All

Allows you to report on all employees.

Only Executives

Allows you to report on executives.

Only Representatives

Allows you to report on representatives.

Only Sales Center Representatives

Allows you to report on sales center representatives.

Employee Commission Setup

Group/FieldWhat is this?

All Employees

Allows you to report on all employees with or without commission setup.

Only employees with Commission Setup

Allows you to report on employees with commission setup.

Only employees without Commission Setup

Allows you to report on employees without commission setup.

Effective Date

Group/FieldWhat is this?

Current Date

Provides report data up to the current date report is being created. This is the default.

All

Provides report data of all commissions which are setup for the employee (s).

Select Date

Provides report data where the effective date is less than or equal to the selected date

Include Commissions Setup with Later Effective Date

Provides all commissions in effect on or after the Effective Date.

 

Report FieldsDescription

Employee

The Employee name, followed by: Regular or Negotiated Commission, Executive, Representative, Sales Center Representative or all of these. Whether the employee is marked as 'Licensed' is also listed.

Applies To

Indicates if the commission applies to:

  • Premium and Fees
  • Premium only
  • Fees only

Effective Date

The effective date based on report selection..

Method

Premium/Non-Premium; Percentage of Agency commission, or Flat Rate. .

%/Amount

The percentage amount of the commission method.

Line of Business

Commission applied to All lines of business or specific lines of business.

Plan

The plan associated with the commission and line of business.

Transaction

The transaction associated with the commission. These will be All, New Business, Renewal or Rewrite.

Writing Company

The specific writing company associated with the commission.

 

CSV ColumnsDescription

Employee Name

The employee name.

EffDate

The effective date of commissions based on report selection. .

Method

% of Agency Commission, % of Premium/Non-Premium or Flat Rate.

%

The percentage of the applicable commission method.

Amount

The amount of commission based on the percentage and method.

Transaction

The type of transaction associated with commission.

Line of Business

The Line of Business associated to the commission, or All lines of business.

Parent

The Parent Company associated with the commission..

Writing

The Writing Company associated with the commission..

Plan

The Plan associated with the commission (if applicable) .
