Cancellation Report

The Cancellation report is helpful to easily access information about policy cancellation. This is beneficial for determining if improvements could be made. Here are some rules and conditions that may be important for interpreting your results:

  • The report doesn't include policies:
    • With no records in the Line of Business section, or,
    • That are continuous, or,
    • If there is no cancellation transaction effective in the report date range.
  • The Exec, Rep, Broker, and other fields populate from the policies.
  • The Business with Agency filter provides a variety of combinations of different lines of business. They are as follows:
    • PL = Personal Lines
    • CL = Commercial Lines
    • NonPC = Non P&C
    • Benefits = Benefits
    • Life = Life
    • Hlth = Health
    • FS = Financial Services
Here are some tips that might help you:
  • To limit your report to have only policies with a cancellation transaction as the latest transaction, run the report and apply the filter for Policy Latest Transaction. You'll then have a multi-select transaction list to select the transactions you want in the report.
  • If you want a report for a specific exec, or a set of execs, run the report and use filters on the Exec fields.
  • If you want information on:
    • A specific customer: use the one of the Customer name filters or the Customer Number filter. You can also click a customer name under the Customer column in the table to open the client in AMS360.
    • Multiple customers: use one of the Customer filter and leave the Customer Number filter blank.
