Highlighting Expiring and Expired Policies in a List

Sagitta is set up to use color-coded highlighting to flag expiring and expired policies in the Policies data grid list, on the Policy Selection Search Client Records page, and on the Policies Selection Search Client Records page.

  • Blue highlight - Policy is due to expire 15-29 days after the current system date.

Example If today is 6/1/04, all policies with an expiration date of 6/16/04 – 6/30/04 are highlighted in blue.

  • Yellow highlight - Policy is due to expire 1-14 days from the current system date.

Example If today is 6/1/04, all policies with an expiration date of 6/2/04 – 6/15/04 are highlighted in yellow.

  • Purple highlight - Policy is expired. (The expiration date is less than or equal to the current system date.)

Turning this feature off/on

Your agency can turn policy highlighting off/on by changing the selection in the Use Colors to Display Expired/Expiring Policies in the Grid? option on the Client/Policy Flags Personalization Page.

Points to note if your agency has policy highlighting turned ON

The system highlights a policy only when:

  • The policy has expired or is due to expire in 0-29 days after the current system date

    and

  • The policy's CNR field does not contain data.

The system does not highlight a policy if the CNR field contains data. Data in the CNR field indicates action has been taken on the policy.

Example While a policy is being remarketed, the CNR value on the current term policy is I (Interim) and the CNR value on the remarketed policy is M (Marketed). If you designate the remarketed policy as Unaccepted, the system removes the I from the CNR field of the current term policy. At that point, the system highlights the policy based on its expiration date.

Sagittadoes not highlight policies that do not have expiration dates, such as continuous policies (term of C) and event policies (term of E).
