Lookup Individual License Number/NPN

Use the Lookup Individual License Number/NPN - Individual service to view an individual producer's active license information in certain states and the producer's National Producer Number (NPN). License information is obtained directly in real time from a selected state's regulatory records.

There is no fee for this service.

Use the following steps:

Getting Started

In the AgencyEDGE navigation bar, click the Transactions link. The Transaction List will open in the Home page.
In the Producer Information Inquiries group, click the Lookup License Number/NPN - Individual link. The Lookup Individual License Number/NPN page will open.

Enter Search Criteria

Required. From the State dropdown menu, select the name of a state in which to search for an individual licensee's license information and NPN.
Required. In the Individual SSN field, enter the licensee's full Social Security Number.
Required. In the Last Name field, enter the licensee's full last name. No wildcard or partial match searches are allowed.
Click the Submit button to run the lookup. The page will refresh to display the results. If no producer met your search criteria, the following message will display: "No producers found matching the criteria."

View Results

Review the results of the lookup. The results display inline based on the search criteria you entered. Information includes the following:
- Name: Producer name, as recorded with the selected state
- National Producer Number: National Insurance Producer Registry National Producer Number
- Active Licenses in [StateName]: License class description, license number, and original issue date of the license in the selected state

Click the Revise Inquiry button to return to the search criteria page, where you can update selection criteria and resubmit the lookup.
To exit the Lookup License Number/NPN - Individual page, click the Transactions link in the navigation bar or the breadcrumbs. The Transaction List will open.
