In this topic, we continue our discussion of the bind process using the Bind command on the Submission Menu.
On the Coding tab, you can add additional details about the policy. Below, we describe each of the available fields so that you can update policies for your agency as needed.
- Enter the following information on the Coding tab.
- Valuation – type of valuation agreement
- Type – additional information as defined by your agency in the Coding Type lookup table in Data Maintenance Utility (DMU)
- Aggregate Limits – aggregate limits that apply to the policy
- Total Coinsurance Prem – total coinsurance premium amount
- Total Coinsure Limit – total coinsurance limit amount
- Retention – retentions applicable to the policy
- TIV – total insurance to value (TIV) for the policy
- Underlying Limits – underlying limits applicable to the policy
- Deductible Amount – deductible amount that applies to the policy
