Refine Certificate Folder

The Refine Certificate Folder form allows you to enter specific criteria (e.g., date range, holder name prefix, etc.) to filter certificates that you see in eForms Manager for the customer.

The Refine Certificate Folder form is available from the View menu of both the Certificate of Liability and the Certificate of Property forms.

It is also available from the View menu of eForms Manager.

Select this option to include all certificates in the folder view.

Certificates added in the last ___ year(s).

Select this option, and then enter the maximum system age (in years) of certificates you want to appear in the folder.

Certificates added in the last ___ day(s).

Select this option, and then enter the maximum system age (in days) of certificates you want to appear in the folder.

Select specific issue dates

Select this option, then enter the range of issue dates (From and To) using the date picker.

Certificate Description Prefix

Select one of these options, and then enter a range of prefixes in alphabetical or numeric order.

The prefix is the first few letters or numbers entered in either the certificate Description field or the Holder Name entered on the certificate.

Holder Name Prefix

 

Display up to XX Holders at a time.

Checked by default. This allows you to set your threshold of how many holders should display in the tree control for a given Master Certificate.  

  • If the holder count exceeds the threshold value, a view holders link displays as a node in the tree control below the Master Certificate and it's supplemental pages. Opens Holder Refine Options if Always show me the Holder Refine Options when the Holders link is clicked option is checked.

  • Default value is 25.

  • Uncheck to disable the threshold field, and Always show me the Holder Refine Options when the Holders link is clicked.

This checkbox allows you to decide if all holders for the specific Certificate Master should be retrieved if the number of holders exceeds the threshold value, or if Holder Refine Options should open when selecting the view holders link below the Certificate Master in the tree control.

  • Checked by default.

  • Disabled if Display up toXXHolders at a time is unchecked.

Holder Sort Order

These selections determine the sequence of certificates shown in the eForms Manager >  Customer/Policy Transaction/Form Tree.
