Subscription Companies

Use this form to distribute premiums and non-premiums among the companies participating in a Subscription risk prior to invoicing.

    ClosedAccessing Subscription Companies

  1. From the Transaction Premiums / Billingsection, expand the Transaction Premiums or the Transaction Fees, Taxes, Finance, & Down Payments sub-section of the Policy form.

  2. Click the Subscription link on a line of business transaction line, or on a company fee/tax/finance transaction line. The Subscription Companies forms displays.

  1. This feature is only available when the Company is set to Subscription in the Basic Policy Information section of the Policy form.

 

    ClosedDistributing Premiums for Subscription Companies

When accessing the form from the Transaction Premiums section of the Policy form:

  1. Click New to create a row in the grid.

  2. Select the Insurance or Brokerage company type. Then select a parent and writing company that is participating in the risk from the list.

  3. Select a Plan, if applicable.

  4. Enter the Policy # assigned by the company.

  5. Enter a Percent Participation and [Tab]. The system calculates the premium for this company based on the percentage entered and fills the Premium field. If you prefer, you may enter the specific amount for the company in the Premium field.

  6. Click Add.

  7. Repeat this process until the entire premium amount is distributed.

  8. Click Save.

If the Remaining Premium does not equal $0.00 before the form is saved, a warning message advises that the entries are not in balance. Remaining Premium must be 0.00 before you can Create an Invoice.

 

    ClosedDistributing Non-Premiums for Subscription Companies

When accessing the form from the Transaction Fees, Taxes, Finance & Down Payments section of the Policy form:

  1. Click New to create a row in the grid.

  2. Select Insurance or Brokerage company type. Then select a parent and writing company that is participating in the risk from the list.

  1. Select a Plan, if applicable.

  2. Enter the Policy # assigned by the company.

  3. Enter a Percent Participation and [Tab]. The system calculates the non-premium for this company based on the percentage entered and fills the Premium field. If you prefer, you may enter the specific amount for the company in the Premium field.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Repeat this process until the entire non-premium amount is distributed.

  6. Click Save.

If the Remaining Premium does not equal $0.00 before the form is saved, a warning message advises that the entries are not in balance. Remaining non-premium must be 0.00 before you can Create an Invoice.

Use the Previous/Next buttons to view companies, policy numbers, and percent participations entered for premiums as necessary to complete the appropriate the appropriate fields for non-premium entries.

Use if a change is made in the Percent Participation to recalculate the Premium amount.

Tabbing out of the Percent Participationfield also redistributes thePremiumamount.

Remaining Premium

Amount remaining to distribute among the participating companies in this form.

Previous

Allows you to scroll backwards through the Premiums and Non-Premiums for the transactions of the policy without closing the Subscription Companies form.

Next

Allows you to scroll forwards through the Premiums and Non-Premiums for the transactions of the policy without closing the Subscription Companies form.

Parent company.

Writing

Writing company.

Plan

Plan for the selected company.

Policy #

Policy number for the selected company.

Percent Participation

Percent of the risk assigned to the selected company.

Premium

Premium amount for the participating company based on the Percent Participation.

Indicates the amount is included on a posted invoice.
