View Notes

Notes are additional information attached to a Policy or Claim that can be printed with the application. A Note can also be personal and only appear on the Notes Tab in the User Center when you log into AMS360. From the View Notes form, you have the ability to view, add, edit, or delete a note.

    ClosedAccessing View Notes

To access the View Notes form, do one of the following:

From the menu in the User, Financial, or Sales center, click Notes > View.

With an individual or company open in the Customer, Bank, Broker, Company, Employee, or Vendor center, click Notes > View from the menu.

From the Policyor theClaimsdata entry forms, or from eForms Manager, select Operation > Notes > View from the menu.

You can edit or delete a note from the Notes Listtable.

Editing a Note

Click the Date link for the note you want to edit. The Notes form opens for you to edit the note.

Deleting a Note

Select the Note in the table you want to delete and click Delete. A message appears asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes.

Sort Order

The default sort order is by date and then by policy number. You can sort on any column in the Notes Listgrid by clicking the header of the column you want to use for sorting.

Note is marked to print with Claim Loss Notice

If a note has been marked to print with the Claims Loss Notice, an asterisk appears in the Print column of the Notes List table.

The note was marked to print with the Claims Loss Notice when it was created in the Notes form.

New Note

Click New Note. The Notes data entry form opens.

View Options

Using the options below, find the note you wish to view. When the note appears in the Notes Listgrid, click theDatelink to open the note for viewing, editing, or deletion.

What is this?

Customer

Type one or more characters of the customer's name and click Search. The Customer Search form appears for you to select the customer whose Notes you want to view.

Personal Notes

If this option is checked, the search includes all notes for the logged in user.

Include Conversion Notes

If this option is checked, the search includes conversion notes for the selected customer.

If a customer is not selected, this checkbox is disabled.

Date Range

Include all notes where the Entered Dateis greater than or equal to theFromdate, and smaller than or equal to theTodate.

Refresh List

If you enter View Optioncriteria, clickRefresh Listto update theNotes Listgrid based on your selections.
