Report: Activity List

The Activity Listreport shows all actions performed and logged by your agency for your customers and their policies.

ClosedAccessing the Activity List Report

Access this report from any center or form that has a Toolbox menu. Select Toolbox > Reports to open the Reports - All list. Click Activity List. The Reports - Activity List selection form opens. Make your selections, then from the File menu select to:

What is this?

Center

Select All to request activities for all centers. The Name field also defaults to All. Otherwise, select one of the centers below to filter your activities by that center.

Center

What is this?

Bank

Select Bank in the Center field to filter your activities by Bank Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can choose a specific bank to further filter your activities.

When Bank is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are disabled:

  • Customer Business Unit link

  • Policy Selection group

Broker

Select Broker in the Center field to filter your activities by Broker Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can choose a specific broker to further filter your activities.

When Broker is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are disabled:

  • Customer Business Unit link

  • Policy Selection group

Company

Select Company in the Center field to filter your activities by Company Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can choose a specific company to further filter your activities.

When Company is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are disabled:

Customer

The default center is Customer. Keep Customer in the Center field to filter your activities by Customer Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can search for a specific customer by:

  1. Unchecking the All checkbox.

  2. Key in a customer prefix in the Name field if you wish. This pulls to the Customer Searchform, making the customer selection quicker.

  3. Click Search. This opens the Customer Search form so you can select your customer.

    If you did not select a prefix for your customer on the Report - Activity Listform, than key in a prefix into theNamefield on theCustomer Searchform, clickSearchand select your customer.

  4. Click Select.

When Customer is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are available.

  • Customer Business Unit link

  • Policy Selection group

If a specific customer is selected, then theCustomer Business Unitlink is then disabled.

Employee

Select Employee in the Center field to filter your activities by Employee Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can choose a specific employee to further filter your activities.

When Employee is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are disabled:

  • Customer Business Unit link

  • Policy Selection group

Vendor

Select Vendor in the Center field to filter your activities by Vendor Center. The Name field defaults to All, or you can choose a specific vendor to further filter your activities.

When Vendor is selected in the Center field, then the following link and group are disabled:

  • Customer Business Unit link

  • Policy Selection group

Name

Customer Business Unit

Use to select the Customer Business Unit(s) for All customers. This link is disabled when a specific customer is selected.

Date Range

What is this?

Number of Days Old

Select this option to see Activities from a date in the past equal to the selected Number of Days Old up through the current system date.

From/To

Select this option to see Activities for a specific date range. Enter or select the date range using the Date Picker.

Policy Selection

This section is only available when the Center selection is Customer, and a specific customer is selected.

Policy Business Unit

Select the desired Policy Business Unit(s). This link is only enabled if All policies are selected in the Policy field. Otherwise, it is disabled.

Policy

Use to print Activities for One or All policies.

If a specific policy is selected, then the Policy Business Unit link is disabled.

Transaction

Use to print Activities for One or All policy transactions (e.g., New, Renewal, Rewrite, Policy Change).

Type of Bus.

Use to print Activitiesfor one, multiple, or all types of business (e.g., Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life).

Company

Use to print Activities for One or All companies (insurance, brokerage, fee).

Executive

Use to print Activities for One or All executives.

Claim

Use to print Activities for One or All claims. To select one claim, click the Searchlink and choose the appropriate claim.

Entered By

Use to print Activities entered by One or more employees. The default is (All).

To include multiple employees, choose (Select Multiple...) from the list. Checkmark the employee names that you want to include and click OK.

Only include Activities with Attachment(s)

Use to print only those Activitiesthat have attachments.

Select the Group Type, if applicable, for the activities.

Example: New Business, Renewal

Group

Select a Group, if applicable.

 

Print Summary Only

Check this box, if you do not want the Description of the activity to print on the report.

Use to sort Activities by:

Activity date

This is the default sort. If selected, sort first by activity date.

If this is a Customer Centeractivity then further sort by customer firm name/last name, first name, and then by policy.

Center

If selected, sort first by Center, then by activity date.

If this is a Customer Center activity then further sort by customer firm name/last name, first name.

Center name

If selected, sort alphabetically by center name.

Entered by

If selected, sort alphabetically by Entered by employee name.

Executive

If selected, sort first by executive, then by activity date.

If this is a Customer Center activity then further sort by customer firm name/last name, first name.

Print Cover Page

Allows you to include a cover page listing the selected options included in the report. This option defaults as unchecked.

Description

Accept the default description, or enter a new one that describes the report you are requesting.

The Date and Time the activity was logged.

By

The short name of the Employee who entered the activity.

Policy

The Policy Number the activity is attached to.

Claim/Loss Date

The Claim Number and Loss Date of the claim the activity is attached to, if any.

Co

The Company associated with the activity.

Policy Term

The Policy effective and expiration date.

Exec

The Executive associated with the activity.

Tran

The Policy Transaction on the activity.

Effective

The Transaction effective date.

System Date

The System Date when the activity was entered.

Group

The Group Name the activity was assigned to, if any.

Description

The Group Type associated with the Group Name, if any.

Activity Text

The text of the activity prints under the identifying information.

The center entity associated with the activity.

Name

Based on the center, the entity name (e.g., customer name, bank name, company name) on the activity.

Customer Division

The division assigned to the customer on the activity.

Customer Branch

The branch assigned to the customer on the activity.

Customer Department

The department assigned to the customer on the activity.

Customer Group

The group assigned to the customer on the activity.

Action

The Action (e.g., form letters, billing, application) selected for the activity.

Description

The activity description.

Entered By

The short name of the Employee who entered the activity.

Policy Number

The Policy Number associated with the activity.

Policy Term

The Policy effective and expiration dates associated with the activity.

Transaction Date

The Transaction effective date of the policy associated with the activity.

Transaction

The Policy Transaction attached to the activity.

Type of Business

The type of business (e.g., Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life) associated with the activity.

Policy Division

The division assigned to the policy on the activity.

Policy Branch

The branch assigned to the policy on the activity.

Policy Department

The department assigned to the policy on the activity.

Policy Group

The group assigned to the policy on the activity.

Company

The Company on the activity.

Claim Number

The Claim Number attached to the activity.

Loss Date

The Loss Date of the claim attached to the activity.

Policy Executive

The Executive on the policy that is attached to the activity.

Policy CSR

The CSR on the policy that is attached to the activity.

Policy Broker

The Broker on the policy that is attached to the activity, if any.

Lines of Business

All Lines of Business entered for the policy associated with the activity.

Group Type

The Group Type selected for the activity, if any.

Group
