Carriers

Agency Carrier List

The Carriers page is where Super Admins and CS Admins can manage their list of appointed carriers. Any carrier entered on this page will appear in both the Submissions workflow and the Instant Quoting workflow, assuming the carrier is enabled for digital quoting. Carriers can be added from the Global Carrier list. Carriers can be added to any location. Carriers added at locations that have child locations below them will be automatically added to those child locations. (See: Agency Structure Inheritance) Carrier details are specific to each location and are managed individually for each location.

To add a carrier, first select the desired location from the location filter, then click the Add a Carrier… button to open the Choose Carrier to add modal:

In the Choose Carrier to add modal, because there are thousands of carriers to choose from, you must type at least two (2) characters in the Find and select carrier drop-down to see carriers to select:

Choose the desired carrier from the list, and then click either Add & Edit or Add:

Clicking Add will add the selected carrier and will leave the Choose Carrier to add modal open, allowing you to select additional carriers. You can continue to add one carrier at a time in this manner. Simply click Cancel or the close X to close the modal when you are done adding carriers.

Clicking Add & Edit will add the selected carrier, close the modal, and take you to the View Carrier Details page.

View Carrier Details

In the View Carrier Details page, you will see five (5) sections:

  1. Basic carrier info – This information comes from the Global Carrier data and cannot be changed.

  2. Agency Codes – Specific agency codes can be added here (This functionality will be removed)

  3. Writing carriers – This shows a list of all writing carriers/subsidiary carriers for the added carrier.

  4. Contacts – Carrier contact information can be added here.

  5. Notes – Carrier specific notes can be added here.
